The Canton Student Loan Foundation - Offers low interest student loans to graduates of Stark County high schools who have at least a 2.00 gpa and who plan to attend a post high school training program or undergraduate college program on a full time basis.
Lillian Grace Mahan Scholarship - Scholarships for students of Library Science are available to Stark County residents who have an outstanding academic performance record and who are in need of financial assistance to pursue a degree in library science to become qualified as a librarian. Joseph A. and Rhea M. Jeffries Memorial Scholarship - Must be resident of Stark County, senior in or graduate of a Stark County high school. Applied to or been accepted by an accredited institution of higher learning. Preference will be given to the following institutions: Malone University, University of Akron, Kent State University, Mount Union College, Ohio University, Stark State College, and Walsh University.
Paul & Carol David Foundation - Must be used for the cost of tuition and books at an accredited college or university in the continental United States. Must take a minimum of 12 credit hours of course work while in college and maintain cumulative GPA of 2.5
Quota Scholarship Grant Program - To be used for tuition, books, room and board and is available to three specific groups of students: residents of Stark County, Individuals with hearing or speech impairments, Individuals who are currently, or plan to be, full-time students pursuing an accredited course of study leading toward a degree. The Hartville Kitchen Scholarship - Must be a graduate of Lake Center Christian High School, a U.S. citizen, gpa of at least 2.8, qualify for financial aid, and plan to enroll fulltime in a bachelor's degree program.
The Canton Preservation Society Scholarship - Students in technical, undergraduate, or graduate study intending to enroll in a program in historic preservation. The Massillon Educational Loan Foundation - Any student living in the Western Stark County School districts of Fairless, Jackson, Massillon, Northwest, Perry, and Tuslaw and graduates from one of the public or private schools in those districts is eligible to apply for a loan. The student must be accepted at an accredited post secondary institution. Students who have completed two or three years of post secondary education are given preference over those just starting post secondary school.
Canton Audubon Society - Students majoring in any environmental science discipline or in law or environmental field and reside or attend school in any of the following Ohio counties: Ashland, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Knox, Mahoning, Medina, Muskingum, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, or Wayne.
Casper Student Loan - The George and Anna Casper Student Loan requirements are: a student must have a 2.6 gpa or higher and have a Stark County mailing address.
