Counseling and Human Development Program Features
One Session per Week
Malone’s program is designed to fit conveniently into your busy personal and professional schedule. You will take one session a week or on Saturdays; completing your degree by focusing on one class at a time, with each class running six or eight weeks in length.
Practical Experience
Clinical and School Counseling students complete nine semester hours of practice experience. The Practicum consists of 100 hours of experience during one semester and the Internship requires 600 hours of practice over two semesters. Classroom Guidance students take a capstone course which applies their accumulated learning in developing a discipline-specific, classroom guidance curriculum.
