“My experience at Malone was extremely rich, some of the best years of my life so far ”
I’m excited that you are considering Malone as one of your college choices! Choosing a university to attend for the next four years may not be the easiest decision, but its a very important one. My job as your admissions counselor it is to help you through this stressful, yet exciting time.
As a Malone alum I have experienced first-hand many of the great opportunities that Malone has to offer and I know the fantastic people you will meet. I was a Communications major and much of my learning experience at Malone was practical and hands on. In fact, I find that I am using many of the things I learned in the classroom in my day to day life and work. While I was a student at Malone, I was a Course Assistant for GEN 100: The College Experience Class. I helped freshman navigate their first semester and assisted them with their transition from high school life to college life. I loved that experience and it certainly helps me in my present job---helping you. For one semester, I was able to take advantage of the study abroad program and traveled to Sydney, Australia. I studied at the Wesley Institute, traveled the country, visited the Outback and even chased kangaroos (I have a video to prove it). My experience at Malone was extremely rich, some of the best years of my life so far.
I chose Malone after visiting the campus. Everyone, from the tour guide to the professors, were so genuine. I loved the small community feel and how friendly and engaging people were. That’s the experience that you will have when you come for a campus visit also. I hope you will find that Malone is a great fit for your college experience. I know it was for me. I look forward to talking with you and your family. If you have any questions about Malone, feel free to contact me!
