	The Malone women’s tennis program, under the direction of first-year head coach Dan Bernard, posted a 7-12 record in the spring of 2007, matching the win total of the '06 squad which finished at 7-11 overall. More importantly, though, the team notched a winning record in the American Mideast Conference at 5-4, the squad's first winning conference record since 2002 and a dramatic improvement over the 1-4 conference mark in '06. Despite the 5-4 AMC record, the team fell just one win short of qualifying for the NAIA Region IX Tournament.
