Recent Scholarly Work
Fall 2009 - conducted a study of concurrent validity between teacher candidates' ACT scores and their corresponding PRAXIS I scores for the purpose of recommending the School of Education drop the PRAXIS I requirement and use instead the ACT scores as measure of candidates' basic competence in reading, mathematics, and English/writing.

Live on 155 -acre farm in Carroll County; share house with 2 Irish Wolfhounds; Hobbies include photography, fishing, golf, model railroading. Member, First Christian Church, Malvern, OH where I serve as Elder and Sunday school teacher. I also hold a small-group Bible study in our home every week.
