Mark received his Masters Degree in Music Technologies from the University of Akron and is currently working towards his Society of Broadcast Engineers Audio Engineer Certification.
He is the owner of Great Tunes Multimedia Inc. and has previously taught at Stark State Technical College, Music Production at Kent State's Commercial Music Program in North Canton, Ohio, and Music Production at Malone University. Mark also conducts the choir for St. Jacob's Lutheran Church and teaches stringed instruments at Pekar's Music in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Mark wrote, arranged, scored and recorded the music for the documentary "Akron Women: Another Look At History" for PBS and recently won a National Telly Award for his work on the PBS special, "The Rise and Fall of the YWCA of Summit County." His score for the 2009 PBS special "Final Edition: Journalism According to Jack and Jim Knight" won an Emmy Award. In 2008, Mark conducted research in Vienna, Austria where he employed the infrared photography of Maurizio Seracini, from "Da Vinci Code" fame, to help prove his thesis on the true meaning of a portrait of Beethoven.
