In addition to his study in the United States, Dr. Curtis has studied flamenco music in Seville, Spain, held a Fulbright Scholarship in Uruguay, and studied in Ecuador on a Rotary Scholarship. His guitar teachers include John Holmquist, Thomas Patterson, and Stephen Aron. He has given many performances in the United States and abroad. He has also composed many arrangements and published articles. He has taught guitar at Bowling Green State University, The College of Wooster, Malone University, and The Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. He enjoys working with other artists and has released four CDs.
