Inaugural Canton Marathon
Canton, Ohio held its first Marathon on Sunday, June 17, and Pioneers - alumni and current students - were an amazing representation!
Out of thousands of people, Pioneers dominated - including the Marathon winner Justin Baum '08, the men's half-marathon winner, Ryan Kienzle '07, the women's half-marathon runner sophomore Sara Polatas, and MCC, current students from Malone's cross country team - Doug French, Nick Fresenko, Matt McConnell, Scott Whitaker, and Lucas Schroades won the relay. Jordan McKelley, a current student, placed 6th in the overall marathon and 1st in the half marathon for his age group (20-24). Jerry Fresenko '90 finished third in the overall marathon.
