The Malone University School of Business and Leadership announces that its Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team has been named a regional champion at the competition held yesterday in Cleveland and will advance to the national competition in Minnesota this May. 

Under the leadership of first-year SIFE advisor Trish Berg, the Malone SIFE team completed 17 projects this year, received a grant from Sam's club, and reached more than 500 people with their projects.

 The 2011 SIFE presentation team consists of:

• Gideon Snyder, a sophomore business administration major from Mansfield
• Chrissy Salem, a sophomore history major from Norton
• Nate Davis, a sophomore business administration major from Southborough, Mass.
• Marcus Brown, a sophomore business administration major from Cleveland
• Nate Downing-Hinzman, a senior political science major from Sharon, Penn.
• Molly Hanzie, a junior accounting major from Creston
• Rachel Leach, a senior business administration major from Canton
