Art Program

Creative Writing
Join us for the University Writers Series, which brings national and regional writers to Canton each semester for readings and workshops. The program also organizes an annual writing contest, offers arts journal, Sightlines, and hosts an open mic night each semester.

Film
Each spring, Malone hosts The Open Frame Film Festival, an opportunity to screen one night of films to a large audience at the historic Palace Theatre in downtown Canton. Visit The Open Frame website for more details.

Theatre
Malone University's Theatre offers a variety of performances each semester, including traditional shows, 24-hour Theatre, and student-directed productions. Upcoming shows include, "Mousetrap" on February 14-16, and "Rabbit Hole" April 9-13. Call the box office at 330.471.8202 for tickets.

Malone University's Chancel Players (drama) and New Vision (music) perform in schools, churches, and for community events.
