    The Malone University Office of Admissions will host a Discover Day for high school juniors and seniors on Monday, November 14.  High school students will have the opportunity to discover firsthand what it is like to be a student at Malone University. Opportunities include an admissions presentation, tour of the campus located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, and lunch with a professor from the prospective student’s chosen major.

    The Malone University Office of Admissions will host a Saturday Sneak Peek on November 12, beginning at 10 a.m.  High school students and their parents will get a “sneak peek” inside what it is like to be a student at Malone University.  The visit is designed for busy families and includes a campus tour, admissions presentation, student panel, and an optional lunch in Hoover Dining Commons at noon.

    The Malone University Student Activities Council welcomes singer-songwriter Lara Landon to the next in its popular Kawfee Haus and Concert Series Tuesday, October 11 at 9 p.m. in the Stewart Room of the Randall Campus Center. Free admission to Malone students with a valid ID; $5 general admission at the door.

    The public is welcome to attend a visiting artist lecture: “A Conversation with Quilt Artist Carol Pollard” Thursday, October 6 from 2 – 2:50 p.m. and again from 3 – 3:50 p.m. in the McFadden Gallery of the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton.  The program is free.

  • (6170) Little Women - The Musical

    The Malone University Department of Performing Arts will stage Little Women – The Musical November 9 – 12 and 16 – 19 in the performing Arts Hall of Founders Hall. The curtain will rise on all performances at 8 p.m. with the exception of the November 11 (Friday), 10 a.m. matinee and the Saturday November 19 2 p.m. matinee. There will be no evening performance on November 11.  Tickets -- $10 for all performances are available by calling the theatre box office at 330.471.8202.

    In partnership with the Domestic Violence Project and the Social Work Club, Malone University’s Counseling Center and Wellness Committee will present Take Back the Night on Tuesday, October 25, 2011.  The program is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located on the Malone University campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton.

    The Malone University Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team will be conducting an eyeglass collection today through October 31 in support if the Lion’s Club.  Persons with used, unwanted eyeglasses are invited to donate them at any of the drop-off boxes located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Ave. Street N.W. in Canton.
