The Malone University Department of Church Relations invites all area pastors to the annual spring pastor’s breakfast Tuesday, April 12, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Brehme Centennial Center - Conference Center. The event is free and open to all area pastors and their staffs. Registration is required before 1 p.m. on April 11; register by calling the Department of Church Relations at 330-471-8434 or by contacting Timothy Pitzer, director of church relations, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pastoral staff will be treated to a complimentary breakfast buffet. Special guest speaker is the Reverend Randy Heckert, university chaplain at Malone. Special music will be provided by local southern gospel artist, Jonathan White.

Prior to that, he served as pastor for the Evangelical Friends Church in Deerfield; Sarasota, Fla; and Salem. Between 1982 and 1988, he was chaplain for the United States Army, serving at Fort Still, Okla.; Fort Bragg, NC; and in Sinai, Egypt with the 82nd
Airborne Division. Heckert holds a BA in philosophy from Youngstown State University, and the M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Ill.). He is married to Kathy; the couple has two married sons and three grandchildren. In addition, the Heckerts own and operate Hambleton House Bed and Breakfast in Canton.
