6247-Malone University ONLINE DEGREE named to USNews & World Report’s List of Best Undergraduate Online Programs

USNews & World Report released its first ever list of top online degree programs today, with Malone University's bachelor's degree ranking #50 for "teaching practices and student engagement" of 172 colleges and universities ranked nationally.

Malone also ranked in the top third (66th of 179 institutions) for "student services and technology" with regards to its online learning. Complete rankings and methodology can be found at http://www.usnews.com/education/online-education.

Available online, Malone's bachelor of arts degree in organizational, project, marketing, health services, or environmental management is designed for nontraditional students with a minimum of five years of work experience who have some post-high school education. The degree may be completed in 14 months. Since its inception in 1984, more than 3400 adult students have completed their degrees; the program boasts an impressive 80% graduation rate. Malone also offers a graduate degree – the master of arts in organizational leadership – as a hybrid part-online, part classroom experience.

Fall semester, 2012, the University will add to its traditional ground MBA, a new hybrid MBA. The hybrid model involves 2.5 days on campus at the beginning of the program, another 2.5 days in the middle of the program, and the remainder of the program online.  Start date is scheduled for late August, 2012; the new hybrid online MBA program is designed to be completed in 20 months, covering the same content as the ground programming and awarding 36 credits in the general MBA degree.
