The Malone University School of Education and Human Development will be featured on the Discovery Channel's Profiles Series (http://www.profilesseries.com/) on Friday, February 24 at 7 a.m. This is a change from the originally announced date.
The segment, produced in conjunction with Canton City Schools, showcases Malone's partnership with Belle Stone Elementary School. In the partnership, Malone students gain practical knowledge, skills, and dispositions in working with students who have language differences. The focus is on multiple literacies, and the ultimate goal of the partnership is to positively impact student learning at the K-12 level.
Hosted by Louis Gossett Jr., The Profiles Series is an award winning television series airing on The Discovery Channel that covers a variety of topics ranging from health and medical, to educational, to business and environmental.
