6270-Music Production Recital

The Malone University College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences – Department of Music will present a music production recital Monday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. The program is free and open to the public. All music performed is recorded – there will be no live performances. A program follows:

Students were required to use pre-existing audio loops and MIDI on Logic to produce tunes between 3:00 and 5:00 long. Audio recording was not allowed.

Students were required to use only sound effects from a limited source, manipulate and place them to produce a song. No recordings of instruments were allowed. All tones were digital manipulations of non-musical sound effects. No sequencing was allowed; all sounds were physically placed in a timeline.
