6400-U.S.News & World Report: Malone University Remains Among Top Regional Universities in the Midwest

For the eighth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Malone University among the top Regional Universities in the Midwest according to the September edition of America's Best Colleges 2013.
The newest edition, which will hit newsstands September 18, ranks Malone in a six-way tie for 60th place of the 149 regional universities located in the Midwest, along with College of Mount St. Joseph (OH), Missouri State University, Spring Arbor University (MI), University of Wisconsin – Stout, and Ursuline College (OH).
U.S. News & World Report uses a number of relevant criteria including peer assessment, retention, alumni giving, and acceptance rate to determine college rankings.
Malone University, a Christian university for the arts, sciences, and professions in the liberal arts tradition, affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church, awards both undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 100 academic programs. Malone is recognized by the prestigious Templeton Foundation as a leader in character development, named an NAIA Champions of Character Five Star Award winner, and is ranked among the top colleges and universities in the Midwest under the category Regional Universities according to U.S.News & World Report's America's Best Colleges 2012.
