6536-Malone University Music Production Class to perform in recital on February 25

Students in the Malone University Music Production class will perform in recital on Monday, February 25, 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. Then program is free and open to the public.

Each student was required to produce six 30-second jingles drawn by lottery from a list of mock clients. Selections for this recital were made based upon the accuracy of the style and the quality of the jingle itself. Voiceovers were not considered. The style options included: Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, New Age, Country, Bluegrass, Ranchero, World, Classical, Baroque, Gospel, Rap, Techno, Hip Hop

A film "clip" was completely wiped of all sound and reconstructed using Foley, SFX, ADR, and library techniques and sources. The music is a "MIDI mockup" done using computer techniques.
