Malone University Kawfee Haus & Concert Series presents Nate Deezy on April 2

March 21, 2013 | Release # 6571

The Malone University Kawfee Haus & Concert Series will present Christian hip hop artist Nate Deezy Tuesday, April 2 at 9 p.m. in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. The concert is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken.

Also appearing will be DJ Slone, KeDDering, and the Generation Akron team with "Turn My Dreams Up."

From CD Baby website:

Nate Deezy (Rapper/Artist) and K-dub (Producer) founded the band Sons of Thunder ENT November 2010. The two however, have been producing Nate Deezy's solo projects over the past few years under the name Legit Beatz Productions, which include an album entitled "Another Poor College Kid," a 25 song mixtape called "Truth On Some Nonsense," and an originally produced music video to the single "I'm In The Sky." The name "Sons of Thunder" refers to the disciples James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were noted as being called sons of thunder (Mark 3:17). The account in Mark 10:35-44 shows their incredible boldness and foolishness in asking to sit at Jesus' right and left hand in glory. With the same boldness K-dub and Nate Deezy are set on asking the Lord for the heart of their generation to turn to Jesus. By the grace of God, it is their commission to use music and entertainment in such a way that glorifies Jesus Christ and will reach the hearts of those who need healing, deliverance, and Salvation. Their ministry to the church is to equip and disciple. Their ministry to a non-believing world is to love and bring reconciliation.
