Husband & wife drama team Acts of Renewal to Perform at Malone University on November 6

Husband and wife drama team Acts of Renewal (aka Carol Anderson-Shores and Jim Shores) will perform at Malone University on Wednesday, November 6 at 10 a.m. in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, Ohio. All Malone University community worship experiences are free and open to the public.
Acts of Renewal's mission is to create and produce excellent theatre that glorifies God leading audiences toward hope, goodness and hunger for God in Christ. They have performed at more than 60 colleges and universities, and at a number of conferences including FamilyLife, Focus on the Family, American Association of Christian Counselors, and Youth for Christ; at churches; and have created theatre pieces for speakers such as J.I. Packer,Gary Smalley, Tony Campolo, Joni Erickson Tada, Gary Chapman, Patsy Clairmont, Sister Helen Prejean (author of Dead Man Walking), David Jeremiah, and Alistar Begg. Carol's one woman show on eating disorders, A Size 7 Forever, has been aired on PBS. Jim and Carol's voices have been heard performing radio drama on the nationally syndicated radio show FamilyLife Today. Carol's voice has been heard on Focus on the Family's Adventures in Odyssey. Several of their filmed scenes created for FamilyLife are shown at Weekend to Remember events across the country.
Carol developed the Worship Arts Major at Montreat College and teaches workshops nationally, helping churches develop arts integration, creative worship as well as theatre in worship. Jim heads up the Communications Major at Montreat College as well as teaches environmental science.
Malone University, a Christian university for the arts, sciences, and professions in the liberal arts tradition, affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church, awards both undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 100 academic programs.
