Alternative Gift Market

Struggling with what to buy that hard-to-shop-for person on your holiday list?

Malone University Heritage Hall students will host an Alternative Gift Market Wednesday, December 4 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Stewart Room of the Randall Campus Center, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W in Canton, Ohio.

The Market seeks to provide creative solutions to problems in both the United States and around the world by inviting people to participate in those solutions through creative gift giving. At the market, gifts such as books, leg braces, clean drinking water, and bicycles can be purchased in the name of a loved one, while the gift itself is then given to someone in need.

The market will also provide opportunities to purchase items from a fair trade store for those who prefer to leave with a tangible gift.
