Malone University to host Stark County High School Model United Nations simulation on December 12 and 14

College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences. Malone University will host the Stark County High School Model United Nations simulation Thursday, December 12 and Saturday, December 14 on the campus located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, Ohio.
Approximately 70 high school students representing Hoover, Lake, Louisville, Marlington, and Sandy Valley High Schools will participate:
Thursday, December 12, from 6:30 to 8 pm (committee meetings in Mitchell Hall, rooms 103, 105, and 107);
Saturday, December 14, from 2 to 5 pm (General Assembly in the Fred F. Silk Auditorium of Mitchell Hall)
The Stark County High School Model United Nations (or SCHMUN) simulations have been conducted at Malone University since 2006. Model United Nations is similar to "mock trial" competitions but is a simulation of meetings at the United Nations. Students represent countries and debate global issues from the perspective of those countries.
