Malone University student organization Enactus working to Can Hunger – drive ends February 24

The Malone University student service organization Enactus has set a goal of raising 5,000 pounds of food for the Stark County Hunger Task Force before the end of the school year. The students have distributed donation boxes and containers throughout the campus located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, Ohio. The drive will continue through Monday, February 24. The students have until then to raise the additional 1,200 pounds of food (or $1,200) to reach their goal.
In addition, Malone Athletics is supporting the effort at the Feb 20th basketball game (vs. Hillsdale, 6 & 8 p.m. in Osborne Hall). Pioneer fans receive $1 off a ticket for each can or $1 donation, up to $2 off a ticket. There will also be a lemonade stand, popcorn stand, and a baked good table to sell goodies, with all proceeds benefiting the Stark County Hunger Task Force.
