Malone University forum will examine situation in Russia / Ukraine

Malone University will present a forum to discuss the current situation with Russia / Ukraine relations Thursday, March 20 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Fred F. Silk Auditorium located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, Ohio.

Speakers will include two professors, two students, and an alumnus:

  • Scott Waalkes, Ph.D., professor of international politics

  • Greg Miller, Ph.D., professor of history

  • Anna Musiyenko, a freshman Communication Arts major enrolled in Intro to World Politics, who is a native of the eastern city of Kharkiv (which is more pro-Russian)

  • Vladyslav Dyenyezhka, a sophomore business administration major and Ukraine native whose family is tied to the Kiev protestors who toppled the government

  • Alumnus Jason Harsh, former missionary to the Crimean region of Ukraine
