Malone University Enactus selected as a Sam’s Club Step Up for Small Business Project Partnership Finalist

Malone University Enactus has been named a 2013–2014 Sam's Club Step Up for Small Business finalist. The complete list of finalists includes:

John Brown University
Missouri State University
Texas A & M International University
University of Houston
Malone University and the other finalists will receive $1,000 and a plaque. In addition, Malone's small business partner – The Wholesome Hive will receive $2,000 and a plaque.
From the list of finalist Enactus teams, three Grand Prize Award teams will be selected on-stage at the 2014 Opening Round Award Ceremony scheduled for April 1 at the 2014 National Exposition in Cincinnati.
The Wholesome Hive strives to be a self-sustaining small business that focuses on the physical well-being of the local customer through the education and use of high quality, homemade, chemical-free, all-natural body and home care products. The Wholesome Hive is constantly researching new and different products to add to its line, depending on customer feedback and market trends. Current products feature benefits to many areas of wellness. Due to the lack of preservatives and chemicals in the products, most items have a shorter shelf life than those typically found at the store. Products are sold mostly locally in Canton, Ohio, at Farmers' Markets, Craft Fairs, and by word-of-mouth.
