Malone University Professor Pam Hoalt is an EXPY finalist

Pamela Hoalt, Ph.D., professor of health education at Malone University, has been named a finalist in the category Best College Advisor by the Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education (NOCHE) for the organization's Expy Awards, which recognize outstanding interns and their advisors. Now in its fourth year, The Expys celebrates experiential learning programs — internships and co-ops — in Northeast Ohio.
In her nomination, Mary Lynne Zahler, wellness manager at Akron Children's Hospital, explained, "Dr. Hoalt is our faculty liaison for community & public health internships from Malone University where she is an accomplished student mentor and health education professor herself." She continued, "Dr. Hoalt is an incredible advisor for her students. She is truly caring and concerned about each one of her students, and she does all she can to help them grow and develop as budding professionals. She works very closely with her student interns and also with their internship supervisors at whatever site the student chooses for his/her wellness internship during his/her senior year in college."
Hoalt and the other four finalists will be recognized at a banquet later this month where the award recipient will be named.
