Malone University counseling graduates boast 100% licensure pass rate

For the fourth consecutive year, 100% of graduates from Malone University's clinical counseling program have passed the National Counseling Examination (NCE) for licensure on the first attempt. In addition, for the past seven years, all school counseling graduates have passed the PRAXIS II licensure exam on the first attempt. Beginning January 2014, a newly required licensure - the OAE (Ohio Assessment of Educators) - also saw a perfect pass rate of 100% by Malone University graduates.
Malone's Clinical Counseling program provides knowledge, practice, and skills through educational and clinical experiences to develop professional counselors as intentional practitioners and advocates for client growth and development. The program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP); approved by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board; and prepares graduates for licensure testing as Licensed Professional Counselors. After two years of work as a counselor, you may test for Professional Clinical Counseling Licensure to work independently in the counseling field.
Malone's school counseling program empowers educators to help their students learn problem-solving skills while learning to deal with their diverse needs. This 36-hour program is designed to help teachers become more knowledgeable in the areas of behavior, academic, emotional, and cultural concerns.
