Newpointe’s Dwight Mason named second keynote speaker at Malone University-OCEA’s Equip2serve Ministry Conference October 25

Will join Bishop Joey Johnson in leading new conference

Dwight MasonMalone University and the Ohio Christian Education Association (OCEA) are uniting to host the Equip2serve Ministry Conference Saturday, October 25, in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, Ohio. Second keynote speaker will be Dwight Mason, lead pastor of Newpointe Community Church. It was announced last month that Bishop Joey Johnson of House of the Lord will be speaking at the conference as well. The conference is designed for persons in leadership positions within the church, but is open to all.

Dwight Mason has served as lead pastor of NewPointe Community Church since 1985. The church had existed for decades and had settled into an average of 75 attendees. Today, NewPointe is a thriving and growing group of more than 4,000 people across multiple locations in Northeast Ohio.

Under Dwight's leadership, NewPointe has acted upon the belief that the local church is the hope of the world, and that through relevant application of Scripture, authentic leadership, and intentional relationship-building the world will be changed for Christ. Dwight grew up in Canton, Ohio and is a graduate of Ohio Christian University. He has been married to Patty since 1989, has four children, and lives in Sugarcreek, Ohio.
