Malone University announces art galleries to open fall semester, 2014

Malone University announces that the following exhibits will be displayed in campus galleries to begin Fall Semester, 2014. The Fountain and McFadden Galleries are located within the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts; Art-in-a-Case is located within the Everett L. Cattell Library, on the campus located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. The Fountain and McFadden Galleries are free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and closed when there are no classes in session. Art-in-Case is free and open to the public during library hours.

Aimee Lambes, Yellow Stripes: Photographs from the Road

Aimee Lambes, a self-taught artist residing in Akron, Ohio, travels as many as eight weeks per year, covering more than 30,000 miles and collecting thousands of images. Her photographs, marked by sharp visual contrasts, depict roadscapes and abandoned architecture with a focus on the spirit of the American landscape. Learn more at aimeelambes.com.

Rebecca Krofcheck, To Be an Apple

Rebecca Krofcheck is a ceramic artist and has been working with clay since 2006. She lives in Westerville, Ohio and is a recent graduate of Ohio Northern University.
