Malone University Worldview Forum Series opens with "Christian Perspectives on Mary" on September 8

The Malone University Worldview Forum Series will open the 2014-15 academic year with "Christian Perspectives on Mary" Monday, September 8 at 7 p.m. in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, Ohio. The program is free and open to the public.
Proponents will be:
Stephen Moroney, Ph.D., chair, Department of Bible, Theology, and Ministry; professor of theology, Malone University
Patrick Manning, Ph.D. chair, Division of Philosophy and Theology; associate professor of theology, Walsh University
Father Anastasy (Stacey) Richter, Holy Assumption Orthodox Church.
The intent of the Worldview Forum Series is to provide the community with the opportunity to practice critical thinking and civil dialogue in the comparison of various worldviews in a professionally moderated, academic environment. It is expected that the forums will help those who attend learn to identify the constitute elements of differing worldviews as well as their implications upon belief and practice.
