The annual Malone University Gigana-Hugana Banana Split Eating Contest is scheduled for Thursday, November 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Randall Campus Center, on the campus located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. Teams of students, dressed in themed costumes, vie for top prizes as they raise funds to benefit the Stark County Hunger Task Force. The event is sponsored by the university's Student Activities Council with the support of AVI Fresh Dining Services.
Free and open to the public, opportunities to make contributions to the Stark County Hunger Task Force (while enjoying banana splits) will be presented.
