6389-Malone University student groups host suicide prevention program

Malone University student organizations be:justice and the Social Work Club are partnering to recognize World Suicide Prevention Day with educational programming Monday, September 10 from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. in the Brehme Conference Center.
Speakers include Carole Vesely of the Crisis Intervention Center who will address the issues of "Survivors Left Behind," and Karen Slovak, Ph.D., associate professor of social work at Malone, who will share her research and experience with teen violence, suicide, and bullying.
