Now Scheduling Malone University Outreach Groups

The Malone University Department of Church Relations is now scheduling two outreach groups for the spring semester of 2011 for church, school, or civic group programs. To schedule the University’s music outreach group, New Vision, or the drama outreach group, Chancel Players, contact Timothy Pitzer, director of church relations at 330-471-8434.

New Vision is a music ministry team made up of six incredible vocalists and worship leaders who are not only excellent musicians, students and friends, but have a sincere love for the Lord and desire to serve Him with their lives.  They have prepared a wide selection of songs and styles including gospel, contemporary Christian, hymn arrangements, patriotic and secular favorites -- ideal for churches, schools, summer camps, conferences, and civic events. Members of New Vision are: 

  • Hannah Adler, a junior from Rochester, New York
  • Shaila Appling, a senior from Canton
  • Rebecca Fiecoat, a freshman from Mount Vernon
  •  Anna Furey, a senior from North Canton
  • Stephen McFarren, a senior from Pace, Florida
  • Nate Shaub, a sophomore from North Canton
  • Halle St. John, a sophomore from Twinsburg

Celebrating their 30th year as a touring drama ministry, the Malone University Chancel Players is a group of five students who perform faith-based drama in schools and churches as well as various community organizations.  The group also performs material appropriate for private as well as public school students. Members of the 2010-2011 Chancel Players are:

  • Jared Hoffmeyer, a sophomore from Minerva
  • Erin Moore, a junior from Stow
  • Brook Pittinger, a sophomore from Massillon
  • Andilynne Holcomb, a senior from Grand Valley, Pennsylvania
  • Jarryd Lunger, a senior from Columbiana
