Timothy Bryan, Vice President for University Marketing and
Communication, Chief of Staff
Tim oversees campus-wide efforts to raise Malone's visibility as a regional university of choice known for Christ-centered academic excellence, spiritual formation, student engagement, and leadership in thought and service; increasing public awareness of the University as a vital educational, cultural, and economic resource at the local and regional levels. Tim was named to this position on June 3, 2014. (Read more). Tim holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication from The University of Akron. He is an inductee in the Hiram College Garfield Society and a recipient of the Nancy L. Moeller Outstanding Commendation for Staff award.

Dave Yakley, Director of Design
Dave oversees the visual identity of the University. He provides direction and creative services primarily for print publications, but for the website as well. Dave has served Malone University since 1999 and is a 1995 alumnus. He has a master's degree from the University of Baltimore. He has won numerous awards for his primary publication, Malone Magazine (the alumni magazine) and is an elected board member of the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) and of the Canton Advertising Federation Board. Dave also teaches for the Department of Communication Arts at Malone University.

Amber Balash, Content Manager for Publications & Website
Amber is responsible for content in print publications and Malone University's website, www.malone.edu, and directs the news brief initiative. She is editor of the award-winning Malone Magazine (the alumni magazine) and also received professional awards for her work as a news reporter. Amber has worked at Malone University since late 2001 and is a 2000 alumna. She teaches for the Gen 100 Program, The College Experience, and is co-adviser for the student group, be:Justice.

Constance Brannon, Communications Specialist and Manager of Outreach Initiatives
Connie writes for all publications and directs summer camps. She joined the University Relations team in January 2015. She brings six years of university recruitment and marketing experience to the table, and has worked in non-profit and arts settings as well. She holds a bachelor's of music in music history and literature from the Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music and a master's of education in higher education administration and student personnel from Kent State University. She is a recipient of the OACAC's 2013 New Member Award (Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling).

Angela Fleischer, Videographer
Angela provides video camera and editing support for events and website purposes. She is a graduate of Kent State University. Angela served Malone University in a full-time capacity since 2005, and has served University Relations in a part-time role since 2011. Her videos have aired on Fox Sports, PBS, CNN, and QVC.

Julie McAbee, Administrative Assistant for University Relations
Julie provides administrative support to all members of the University Relations Department - as well as to the general public. Julie has served Malone University since 2007.
