Academic Credit for Service Learning Trips
Students participating in Malone Service-Learning trips take SOSC 212: Cross Cultural Experience Part I and SOSC 213 Cross Cultural Experience Part II.
(both courses are necessary to receive the 2 credits)
These courses are designed to better prepare and equip team members for serving cross-culturally and processing the experience afterwards.
All responsibilities related to receiving academic credit belong to the student, not to the trip leader.
