China Service Learning Trip 2011

Trip Dates: Two weeks in May

In-Country Hosts: Terry Branem, Akron native who is working in China

Cost: Approximately $2,800

More Information: While we’re in China, we’ll visit and work in Shanghai (both China’s largest city and Dr. Chen’s hometown). We’ll be in a Christian home for physically challenged children and will do house cleaning and repairing work, play with the children and take them to the zoo and other site-seeing experiences.

The second part of the trip will be one of the following:

Beijing, the capital of China, where we’ll work with an orphanage and practice English conversation with high school or colleges.

Hong Kong, where we’ll work with Crossroads International
