Andrew Rearick

Andrew Rearick

Senior, Class of 2013

Major: Biology (Pre-Professional)

Hometown: New Cumberland, Penn.

Other Activities: Pre-Professional Club

Position & Goals for the 2012-13 Senate:

My job is to engage students and to develop an atmosphere towards a true college experience on campus. My goals are: (1) to continue our commitment in always informing students that there is something to do on weekends! New weekend events are now available. (2) To focus tightly on budget so students continue to receive the best deal on tickets at the bare minimal costs possible! (3) To use Facebook/Twitter and the SAC webpage to ensure that everyone knows about our events.

"As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." (Eph. 4:1-6, NIV)

Major: Computer Science

Position & Goals for the 2012-13 Senate:

As a Co-Student Activities Director I work with Andrew Rearick and Rae Showen to plan, organize, and run events on and off campus. I hope to encourage students to get involved in many of the activities we have planned for this year, and I also hope to provide them with enjoyable experiences through those activities.

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." (Proverbs 19:21, NIV)
