Service-Learning Trip Application Process

Application Process for 2010-2011

1.Attend either one of the Service-Learning trip information meetings. (This is encouraged but not required.)

  • Tuesday, September 14, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in Silk Auditorium.
  • Friday, September 17, 10:00-11:00 a.m. in Silk Auditorium.

2.Complete the Service-Learning trip application by October 8, 2010.

3.Once you've completed the application, you will receive an email in your student email account with more information about the interview process.

4.Schedule your interview. Interviews will take place October 11-20, 2010.

5.Complete one half hour interview with service-learning trip leaders.

6.On October 27 letters of notification will be sent to your campus mailbox or your off campus mailing address.

For those accepted to participate in service-learning trips, you must attend one of the following financial support-raising workshops:

  • Tuesday, November 9 at 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in Silk Auditorium.
  • Friday, November 12 at 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. in Silk Auditorium.
