Jo Glover, M.Ed., LSW, LPCC-S, Assistant Director of the Counseling Center

JoJo Glover has served for more than 20 years as the assistant director of the Counseling Center at Malone University.

Her position includes:

  • Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with students
  • Facilitating support / therapy groups
  • Providing spiritual growth opportunities
  • Presenting workshops and seminars
  • Serving on various consciousness-raising educational committees. 

Jo was responsible for the birth of the Women's Health Committee and the subsequent beginning of the Annual Health Fair (Patchwork of Wellness). Other committee service includes Wellness, Gender Issues, Eating Disorder Awareness, Pornography Task Force and Take Back the Night (Domestic Violence).

Jo Glover has been a licensed professional since 1984. She is a Licensed Social Worker and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Endorsement. She has specialized training in issues relative to college students, sexuality, trauma treatment, eating disorders, addictions and women's issues.

Along with her ministry on the campus, Jo also has a small private practice, supervises lay counselors, and maintains numerous other community involvements. 

Jo has been married to her husband, Pete Glover, for more than 40 years. They have two grown children, three grandchildren, and two adopted children.
