Mealtime Operations,Behavioral Expectations
Mealtime Operations
All students entering the Dining Commons must have ready their meal I.D. card and show such card to the authorized representative of AVI Food Systems. Your I.D. card will be scanned by a scan card computer allowing you to be admitted to the Dining Commons. If you do not have your I.D. card, you will be asked to pay the meal price. If, within 5 days, you can produce your I.D. card to the food service manager, the money will be refunded to you at that time. Only students who have a valid I.D. card or pay are permitted in the Hoover Dining Commons.
Expectations
The following guidelines are consistent with our behavioral expectations and are designed to help further our sense of community and encourage good stewardship of the Hoover Dining Commons:
Please do not remove any food, drinks, or utensils from the dining commons.
Please do not move any tables inside of the Dining Commons.
Please wear appropriate clothing to all meals: Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Do not wear muddy clothing or shoes (no cleats).
You will not be able to enter the dining commons except with your I.D. card (if you are on meal plan) or if you pay cash. You may not “lend” your I.D. card to anyone else for use to gain entrance into the Dining Commons. Violators will be subject to disciplinary action.
Common courtesy and decency applies - no throwing of food, shouting, vulgarity, vandalism or fighting.
Radios, cassette decks and C.D. players are not permitted in the Dining Commons.
Please confront any misconduct or report any such activity to a University staff person.
The management reserves the right to refuse service to any student who does not follow the behavioral expectations of the University and/or AVI Food Systems.
