CLEP Testing

What is a CLEP exam?

The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a timed, computerized test offering the opportunity to earn college credit.

Signing up for a CLEP exam

  • Schedule an appointment with the Center for Student Success at 330.471.8249. CLEP exams can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

  • Submit completed and signed registration forms to the Center for Student Success via fax 330.471.8390 or e-mail vzppnegl+znybar+rqh at least 24 hours prior to the previously scheduled testing appointment.

A new registration form must be completed for every exam to be taken. Effective July 1, 2012, the applicable fee for each CLEP exam is $80. Check, debit or credit card, and money orders are accepted.

An additional $20 test administration fee applies. This proctoring fee is waived for Malone University students. 

Exams may not be re-taken within a six month period.

Official CLEP study guides may be available at local libraries and on-line at www.collegeboard.com.
