Test Taking Tip: Test Anxiety
Take a deep breath!
A little anxiety is good, too much interferes with success.
Before the test:
- Start studying early
- Mentally practice taking the test
During the test:
- Scan the test and read the directions
- Breathe slowly and deeply
- Do the simple questions first to build your confidence
- If you don't know the answer, skip it and try it again later
- Don't worry about how fast others finish their tests
