With more than 13 years of police and corrections experience, Spelman enjoys conducting research and presenting on innovative projects in the Criminal Justice field. His research and articles have been published by the FBI, American Corrections Association, American Probation and Parole Association, and the Journal of Offender Monitoring. He is a member of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Office of Justice Programs (NIJ) Consulting Database.
