Biography

Sandy Knauf has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 23 years. She has worked in various settings but her first love is teaching; teaching patients, their families, students and peers. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve their personal and health goals.  In this way, she lives out her scholarly interests related to health promotion and health coaching.

Little known fact

Sandy has 3 daughters (Riley 22, Gigi 19 and Charlotte 17) and have been married to Doug for 27 years.  She loves being outdoors, swinging, taking long walks, gardening and paddle boarding. Sandy is active in her local church and Bible Study Fellowship. She was a cheerleader at University of Toledo (1989-1992).  You might see her face on posters and advertisement at Minute Clinic. Her dad is a bilateral lung transplant recipient.
