  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at Our title IV school code is 003072.
  3. Provide the Financial Aid office and the Malone Management Program office with a copy of your employer's tuition assistance plan if you are eligible for this benefit.

Receipt of financial aid is contingent upon admission to the RN to BSN Program and must be coordinated with your start date.

Federal Pell Grant

This is a need-based grant based on the results of the FAFSA you have filed.

Nursing Education Assistance Loan Program (NEALP)

Ohio residents with financial need may be eligible for this loan offered by the Ohio Board of Regents. The maximum award is $3,000 per year. For more information or an application, view:

Yellow Ribbon, Veterans and Ohio National Guard Benefits, ACE's program

The RN to BSN program is approved for the Veteran's and Ohio National Guard benefits. Contact the registrar’s office at 330-471-8431 for information concerning veteran’s benefits and the financial aid office at 330-471-8435 for Ohio National Guard benefits.

Note: Officers not eligible for regular benefits may be eligible for the ACE’s program.

Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan

This is a need-based loan (also based on your filed FAFSA).  The interest rate is fixed at 5.6%.  Interest begins six months after classes end or you stop attending at least half time. Repayment also begins at that time and can extend up to ten years.

Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan

This is the same as the Stafford Loan program, except that it is NOT need-based and you, the borrower, are responsible for the interest that accrues during the in-school period.

Note: Any balance that remains after financial aid has been deducted from the total charges must be paid in accordance with one of the standard payment plans. Any questions regarding financial aid should be directed to the financial aid office.
