Membership is available to all integrated social studies, political science and history majors. Activities are open to all personnel (students, faculty and staff) of the college community who have an interest in history and/or the social sciences.
Student Activities & Honors Societies
This club is open to all Malone students. Activities include discussion groups, presentations by faculty, and the viewing, review, and discussion of relevant movies.
Pi Sigma Alpha is a national honor society for political science students. Members must be juniors or seniors with a minimum 3.0 overall GPA, rank in the top third of their graduating class, and have completed at least three political science courses (one of which must be at the 300 level or above). Each member must also carry a 3.0 GPA in political science courses. Malone’s chapter, Alpha Alpha Omicron, may participate in activities in conjunction with other college and university chapters of the organization.
This award is made in honor of the late James H. Stuckey, Ph.D., professor of history and sociology emeritus at Malone for thirty years.
