Multi-Age Education

No teaching license? No problem

Malone University offers students who did not pursue an undergraduate degree in education but are now looking to start a new career in education the opportunity to earn their teaching license while earning their master's degree.

The Multi-Age Licensure graduate program is for individuals who have an undergraduate degree in Spanish and prepares them to teach grades K-12.

This program allows candidates to pursue an initial teaching license at the graduate level. Program courses include content in educational foundations, learning theory, assessment, instructional methodology, instructional technology, content area reading, exceptionalities, and classroom management. Students who pursue this program will be required to complete one semester of student teaching. Faculty will work alongside of the student to find placement in a classroom setting for student teaching.

The curriculum includes coursework, both online and on-campus, and student teaching. On-campus courses are held just one night a week in the evenings to fit the schedules of any individual. Students will work with their Academic Adviser to create a program of study that will allow them to choose how quickly they complete the program.
