Post-Graduate Certificate Programs in Nursing

Both certificate programs are designed to be completed in three (3) consecutive semesters, totaling 16.5 credit hours.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

This certificate is designed for post-master’s nurses who want to expand their scope of practice to include a structured yet independent setting. Family Nurse Practitioners provide care for a wide range of patients, across the lifespan, traditionally in clinical settings or family practices.

This fully online certificate program is shaped to accommodate the needs of practicing nurses. Clinical Internships (500 hours total) will be provided in a variety of primary care settings.

The Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) 

This certificate is designed for post-master’s nurses who want to expand their scope of practice to include a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. AGACNPs work with adult and elderly patients who have acute, chronic and critical conditions. Given patient conditions, AGACNPs work in collaboration with others in the medical field to provide the best care while continually evaluating the patient's condition. 

This fully online certificate program is shaped to accommodate the needs of practicing nurses. Clinical Internships (500 hours total) will be provided in a variety of primary care settings.
