Creative Writing Fellowship
Malone University Creative Writing Fellowships are competitive, merit-based awards of $2,500 and $1,000 for students who plan to pursue Creative Writing as a major or minor.
Fellows are selected based on the quality of their writing and the strength of their desire to develop their gifts through study and practice. An opportunity to room with another writer also will be available to creative writing fellows.
Submit a selection of your creative writing plus a brief artist's statement in a single document, Microsoft Word or PDF format. Email with a cover letter to the director of creative writing or upload it using the form below.
Please abide by the following page limits:
Poetry: 10 pages maximum, no more than one poem per page
Fiction/Non-fiction: One story or essay, 15 pages maximum, double spaced.
* You may submit writing in more than one genre, but your manuscript may not exceed 15 total pages.
