Chorale European Tour 2010

The Malone University Chorale toured Europe June 15 - 29 of 2010, raising its voices in song at eight churches in three countries over nine days. The whirlwind tour began in Germany, where it performed in Ev. Kirchengemeinde St. Katharinen in Oppenheim, St. Peter's KircheSalzburg Cathedral in Leutershausen, Lorenzkirche in Probstzella and Michaeliskirche in Ludwigsstadt. From there, it was off to the Czech Republic, where it performed in St. Martin's Kirche in Prague. The tour concluded in Austria, with a performance at Evangelische Pfarregemeinde A.B. Hallstatt/Obertraun in Hallstatt, The Salzburg Dom in Salzburg, and Ev. Kirche Gosau in Gosau.

"The Chorale has received fantastic invitations to perform in some of the most beautiful churches and cathedrals in all of Europe." One of the highlights of the tour was a performance on Sunday morning, June 27 at the Salzburg Cathedral. "With the Cathedral getting hundreds of requests from choirs all over the world to perform there, it was truly an exciting privilege for the Malone Chorale to receive an invitation to sing at this spectacular venue.”
