Spanish for Service and the Professions

Help other people and society

Malone's mission is to prepare students to serve their churches, communities, and the world. The ability to equip professionals to serve Spanish speaking populations practically expresses the heart of Malone's mission.

The Spanish for Service and the Professions minor emphasizes workplace readiness rather than traditional liberal arts. It is an excellent choice to accompany majors in business, criminal and restorative justice, education, ministry, nursing, social work, etc. To enter the program, students must demonstrate successful completion of Third Level High School Spanish or equivalency through testing. If you don’t have this level of competency, we can advise you on options to take beginning Spanish through programs that Malone partners with.
